Slope stabilization before and after hairpin bend (CH)

Project: Satteleggstrasse / supporting structure Chratzerli Vorderthal. Our Brextor® in action in Vorderthal – mountain panorama included!

In a geologically challenging area, the Sattelegg road was secured in the long term by slope stabilization measures before and after a hairpin bend. The slope on the mountain side was secured by a max. 5.20 m high, pre-concreted retaining wall on 15 in-situ concrete bored piles, which were tied back with 15 permanent anchors. On the valley side, the road was stabilized by a back-anchored concrete beam on 29 in-situ concrete piles, whereby 22 permanent anchors were used.
