We also take off for special assignments – short assignment with Brextor® on the Sundgraben Bridge in Beatenberg.
After 2 days of use, the construction site was already cleared for the next work steps.
This construction project comprises an elegant, 148 m long concrete bridge with bored piles 1 meter in diameter. The bridge has a central span of 65 m and leads to an approximately 144 m long road section in the west, accompanied by a slope support structure. The total correction length is around 325 meters, with a carriageway width of 7.50 m on the bridge and 7.0 m in the road cut. A 2.5 m wide footpath on the valley side allows bicycles to be used on the uphill side. The bridge also accommodates a municipal water pipe and new BKW and Swisscom service lines. The bored piles were cropped with Brextor®.
