Explanations on data protection

As a rule, you can access all BRC Internet pages without providing any personal information. If, in individual cases, your name, address or other personal data are required, you will be informed of this in advance. Your personal usage data is used to make the BRC service as pleasant as possible for you and to improve it.

If you decide to provide BRC with personal data via the Internet, e.g. so that correspondence can be processed or an order can be executed, this data will be handled carefully in accordance with the strict regulations of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
When the website is accessed, BRC receives usage data that is stored for backup purposes and may allow identification (for example, IP address, date, time and pages viewed). This data is analyzed by BRC to learn about user behavior and to compile statistics. The high security standards of the Teleservices Data Protection Act (TDDSG) and the Data Protection Ordinance for Telecommunications Companies (TDSV) are observed in all measures. No personal utilization takes place. The statistical evaluation of anonymized data records is reserved.
Further information on the subject of data protection in Switzerland can be found here: www.admin.ch

Disclosure of personal information to third parties

Should data be passed on to service providers within the scope of order data processing, these are bound by the BDSG, other legal regulations and contractually by the Privacy Policy of BRC. To the extent that BRC is required to do so by law or court order, it will disclose your information to the extent requested to entities entitled to receive such information.
For other purposes, BRC will not share your information with third parties without your express consent.

Security

BRC stores your data on specially protected servers in Switzerland. Access to it is only possible for a few persons authorized by the BRC who are involved in the technical, commercial or editorial support of these servers.

Right of revocation

If you request BRC not to use your personal data for further contact and/or to delete it, we will proceed accordingly. Data that is absolutely necessary for order processing or for commercial purposes shall not be affected by termination or deletion.

Please understand that in the event of revocation, the personalized service can no longer be provided, as it is based on the use of customer data.

They can only be read by the server that previously stored them.

Advertising

As a rule, BRC’s websites do not contain advertising space. In the opposite case, the advertising is delivered via external ad servers. No personal data is used in the process.

When delivering advertising, cookies may be used without BRC having any influence on this.
