Roche Tower (CH)

The Roche Tower is a high-rise office building in Basel belonging to the Swiss-based pharmaceutical company Roche Holding.

Building 2 is visually very similar to the Roche Tower, which was completed in 2015 (Building 1), which was designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. It is 205 m high (50 storeys) and, with a smaller floor area than Building 1, provides roughly the same capacity with 2,400 office workstations. It will thus replace Building 1 (178 m) as the tallest high-rise building in Switzerland in 2022. The investment sum for Roche Tower Building 2 is estimated at 550 million Swiss francs. General planner of the Roch Tower (construction 2) was the Drees & Sommer office.
